Our cousin has won the RHS Show garden – Competition entry winner 2012.

At present he is busy getting the show garden ready for the RHS Flower Show at Tatton from 17th – 22nd July, the name of which is ‘The Science of Strings’.

The garden is inspired by the science behind the sound produced by a stringed instrument. Undulating lawns replicate linier sound waves and concentric circles of grasses and rills mimic frequency and wavelength. Stainless steel wires connect to a steel arch depicting the way a sound is created by altering the tension of the string.
