Erasmus Plus is the EU Programme for lifelong learning. It supports activities in education, training, youth and sport across all sectors including Higher Education, Further Education, adult education, schools and youth activities. The aim is to boost skills and employability as well as to modernise education, training and youth work across Europe.
Grants typically range in value from £1,000 to £10,000.
The Green Hall Foundation (formerly known as the Constance Green Foundation) offers funding to registered charities in the UK for charitable work.
Each financial year the Trustees nominate a specific charitable sector for support.
The 2014/15 application cycles are as follows:
- 1 May 2014 to 30 September 2014.
- 1 November 2014 to 31 March 2015.
Only the first 100 applications will go forward to the Trustees for consideration at each meeting. Once the limit has been reached, the application cycle will be closed.
Charities registered in the UK may apply.
Some preference is given to charities operating in Yorkshire.
For 2014/15, the Foundation will support the homeless, older people and church and community projects.
Funding will not be given to individuals.
