Is your CCG commissioning for social value?
Are you a local authority, CCG, community or social enterprise working in health?
Looking to provide more social value in your health and care commissioning and delivery?
Applications are now open for the second round of our health and social value programme. Apply today.
Funded by the Department for Health the programme provides free bespoke support for areas to implement the Public Services (Social Value) Act though collaboration between the public sector and local voluntary and community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in the arena of health and care commissioning and delivery.
To date the programme has worked with four CCGs and local authorities across the UK, supporting them and the local VCSE sector to agree social value priorities and to embed them into their commissioning and procurement frameworks.
Those who participated in the 2013-2014 programme said:
‘We’ve really valued the opportunity to sit around the table with commissioners and providers and collectively agree social value priorities.’
‘It has helped bring together bits of work that were already going on, but we wouldn’t have got where we are today without being involved in the programme’
