Make it Happen was established in 2006 as a Third Sector Support Consultancy by the current Directors using their extensive experience and knowledge of organisational development, change, growth and innovative charities, social enterprise, private business and the public sector.

Since Make it Happen’s formation, the company has supported the growth and ongoing sustainability of over 150 social/ethical businesses across the health, education, crime, employment, social care, environmental and housing sectors.  We have supported the development of 63 social enterprise start up’s and assisted our client base in achieving in excess of £6m of finance through grants and loans and £40m in contracted and trading income. We have invaluable experience and have worked with a large number of clientele, thus enabling us to do what we do efficiently and effectively.

At Make it Happen we aspire to help organisational leaders build their confidence and capability in all that they do. We assist organisations in developing ways of creating profit and achieving social value and impact, whilst helping to develop an understanding of financial systems and ways of working that secure long term sustainability.  It is our vision to challenge and change the traditional business model to one where social and ethical values are embedded to help shape the way that the business is conducted.

We believe that developing, managing and supporting methods of measurement and reporting enables organisations to track social value and impact and we aim to implement such systems in the day to day running of those we work with.

We also facilitate ways in which organisations can identify and integrate core values into everyday working practices and to transfer knowledge and skills to enable individuals and organisations to develop and grow.

We support inspiration for social change – we strive to inspire people to do things that make money, as well as creating a real social value and impact. We aim to give those we work with the knowledge and understanding so that they know how to make social change.
